Behavior Modification Training

These are done in the home, but can be done at different locations according to the behavioral problem we are working on. Possible locations include: city parks, front yards, dog parks, hiking trails, empty parking lots, and other creative spaces. Basically, if it’s safe for us to be there, legal for us to be there we can train a dog there. $100 for each additional session after the first 3.

Puppy Training

3 sessions

Puppy must be 7 months or younger to qualify for the puppy price. These are just like the regular sessions, but instead we cover basic commands such as sit, stay, lie down, drop it, leave it, and come. Plus any speciality topics you would like to discuss. $60 for each additional session after the first 3. Any multi-dog household pays the Behavior Modification Training price. Any puppies with significant behavioral problems, regardless of age, pay the Behavioral Modification Training price.

Travel fee

Dog trainer will travel! We are more than happy to service other locations, but must apply a fee for travel outside the city of Anchorage. This is calculated at $25/hour of drive time.

There is a $125 deposit in order to reserve your appointment with Anchorage Dog Training. This is non refundable, and non transferable, if you choose to cancel.

Reschedules are permitted.

This is NOT in addition to the overall cost. For example, if you pay for puppy sessions, there will be $125 dollar deposit at the time of scheduling, then you will pay $175 at the first session, totaling $300

Phone Consultations

Usually these are used for owners whose dog has been involved in a death, or major bite incident, and are looking for guidance or options on how to move forward.

This can also be used for people who are located outside our travel area and don’t have access to dog training services. No matter what reason you have for wanting to talk, we are available.
